  1. G92 means something different in Bosto language.
  2. Thanks for your input. I found out the the previous owner, a medical company had the software altered for some reason. One problem I have is when I shut down the controller, It resets the tool and offset table to the origin values. I enabled the auto save in the configuration but it doesn't help. The funny part is that when I view the offset and tool table files the values are there. Any help I can get would greatly appreciated. I have yet to get a file to run. It keeps hitting the Z soft limits. Do I need to insert a G92 at the beginning of the file? Thanks in advance. Bob
  3. I am looking for someone close to Detroit who would consider doing some training on the BDC3200 control. This thing is giving me fits! I am trying to edit a post file to work, but this machine is not like the Fadals that I am used to.Thanks. Bob D.
  4. After I installed the March update, my finish contour cutter paths take forever to generate. We machine small electrodes and generally use .001 step downs. Yesterday one operation sat there for 3 hours and I had to use Task Manager to get out of it. When I use .oo5 step downs ,it still takes longer than it use to. Any ideas ? Bob D.
  5. I am cutting on a Fadal 3016. It has 48 fixture offsets. Right now I have MC set to default E01.
  6. We are just starting to cut the same toolpath on multiple fixtures(graphite). Do I need to edit my post or is there a setting in MC to allow me to cut on fixture 01 to 06 in the same program? Thanks for your help. Bob D. [ 02-15-2003, 09:27 AM: Message edited by: westwind plastics ]
  7. I want to remove the association so I can discard untrimmed surfaces to clean up my files. Sometimes I get data from a customer that has stray entities out side the part. When I try to delete them, I delete associated entities within the part. Bob
  8. Hello, Is there a way to remove the association between the visible surfaces and the blanked, untrimmed surfaces? Thanks in advance. Bob D. [ 02-04-2003, 06:52 AM: Message edited by: westwind plastics ]
