Trick I learned on here for using 2d contour.
(hole diameter-endmill diameter)/2 x .4142= both length and radius
use a 135 degree entry angle and select tangent
Puts the tool in the center of the hole and has a nice straight lead in/out for cc before arcing onto the chain.

I think you have your feedrates locked. System Configuration->Toolpaths->uncheck lock feedrates. When I oped your file, it was 400 in your tool manager but not the tool path.

I don't know if the router has it, but the Fanuc 3 axis does.

Just checked the generic Fanuc post in X8, its named slightly different and in a different location. Search for "tap" its labeled for g94/g95 as well.

This way you can control your lead in and out as mentioned. It will get funky if you start playing with arc filter settings, my only gripe.

Try changing to 3 axis simulation setting instead of 5 axis. I think X9 default it is set to 5axis, gives a more accurate verify. In X8, I never noticed a slow down between the two, in X9 it seems to slow down more using 5 axis.

Hopefully they don't do anything stupid like changing part numbers or the price.

We use both on pretty much every job . So hopefully more good to come from this.

I did "pull" them from the server, at one time. But, the server would go down quite often and weird things would happen. We all use the same posts, but if I make a new file for a new machine, I have to go around and make sure the control definitions are changed on the other users computers. Not a huge deal since its only 4 or so things that need to be changed, just a PITA when we move to a new version.
I was just saying that we don't have multiple post using the same control definitions.

Right now, one of us will edit a post/machine def/ control def and copy it to the server. Then the ones who didn't edit the post copy it on to their respective computers.

I save my control definitions by going into the machine definition, then control definition, modify and click the save icon. This saves my changes for me. But if someone else uses my corresponding post, machine definition, and control definition, the changes I made in the control definition are not saved. Same goes for updating versions of Mastercam.

Filtering the tool path is a must on older machines.

I would try creating a .01 fillet on the "back side" of each feature. Use surface contour to use the back side of the lollipop mill to deburr, hopefully you have a 300 degree cutting edge. However, 5th axis' way would probably yield a faster more direct tool path.

No issues using MPMaster here. However, pre X9 machine sim with no multi axis link was a joke for 3+1. CAMplete would have been nice, still would be.

I have only heard that bundled in for 5 axis. True 4th whole lot of nope.

Why not just tilt the part so you can achieve the best stubbed loc/ out of holder and surface the whole thing? Then hit the one area that is undercut with a lollipop mill, and just use the indexer to index no full 4th.

I have been using more of the point toolpaths because of the start at center ease. But if I am interpolating a bore or oval with a minimal difference between endmill size and feature, the above method is my go to for finishing.
