Don't copy and paste them either they get corrupted.

How did this bug make it into 2019? I don't understand surely beta would have picked this up.

I have a good clean toolpath. Then I change the boundry from outside to center and MC corrupts the Machining Geom

Is anyone else seeing funky things with 2019 high speed toolpaths?

I have a good high speed parallel tool path, then I change say stepover. I had stock set to 0.2mm.

What MC does is adds a new set of mchininig geometry with stock set back to 1mm stock. The original setting 0.2 stock has no surfaces assigned.

I'm having no luck in 2019 moving tool paths with the right mouse click.

The only way I can move tool paths is cut and paste them after the red arrow.

Well I finally got MC sorted.

I always use "one way filtering". For finishing toolpaths only I use smoothing shift points randomly. The biggest effect on toolpath surface finish will be your total tolerance.

Set your arcs to Min 0.1 and Max 10000.

2018 was running fine I installed 2019 and now 2018 will not launch

I have sent an email to QC. 

Yes Windows 10 Pro 64 bit

When a backup file in 2019 is made it adds a 2018 icon to the file in windows explorer

Are you guys getting a MC 2019 icon on your 2019 files?

then launch MC2018.. MC will write a new default workspace file

If it launches OK, try putting your file back... 

you would think this would break it again, but it's worked for me in the past

also try this with your config file

I dont understand why things that worked get broken when they release new software. Surely a Beta tester would have seen this.

In 2019 I had a 2D HS dynamic toolpath I copied it twice and reselcted new geometry in the two copied toolpaths.

The depths in the copied toolpaths changed?

I tried everything uninstalled 2018 re installed 2018 tried repair ect ect.

When I start 2018 I get the dreaded MC has stoppped working and then the email promt to email MC.

2019 is working fine

I had 2018 working fine then I installed 2019 from the web download now 2018 will not work.

Material is P20 Hardened to 55Rc I need to cut the thread into the core (Green surfaces). I need to cut the green surfaces and I can not touch the red surfaces.

I want to rough it with a 1.5mm Ballnose then I need to go down to a 0.6mm Ballnoe

Any guidance on how to tool path this job would be greatly appreciated. It will be cut on a HAAS UMC 750 SS
