  1. Hey Murlin, My Cursor just did the exact same thing as yours. It was fine until we called a toolpath, then it suddenly became a text type cursor. Did you ever resolve this situation? It looked like this thread just ended without any joy. Rob
  2. Thanks Roger, I shall speak with my dealer. Now I know what to ask for. Thanks again. Rob
  3. Hey everybody, great news! It worked! Crazy Ron- The astericks did the trick in the parc section. I knew it had to be something simple. Haven't checked the X and Y output yet as just having the I and J seemed to solve ESAB's heartburn with the circulars. Mike, I had already set the arcout to 0. Thanks for your input. ESAB seems to hate 1/4 circles. Murlin, I'm lost. Not quite sure what you meant, although I'm certain its good stuff. No one suggested any reading material. I assume these posts are written in Visual Basic. Is that my starting point?
  4. Here's an "easy" question for a late friday afternoon. I am trying to tweek the mpfan mill post for use on a ESAB plasma cutter. Most everything works well except on circular interpolations where the center of the arc is directly in line with the arc starting point. It won't list all the values needed after the G02. I need X Y I J values everytime, no matter how simple of an arc. They aren't modal on my control. There must be a "toggle" to force this somewhere in the post but where? Also, Any suggestions on reading material for how to tweek posts? Or is this one of the dark arts that we don't like to talk about?
  5. When I verify my toolpaths in mastercam mill version 9 it doesn't pick up the rapid moves between toolpaths. I have checked collisions so that they will show up in the verify. I know the collisions are there, but the verify isn't picking them up. It is almost like the verify isn't simulating the codes correctly. Can anybody help out there. Rob
  6. In mastercam mill, I have recently come across trouble in using the verify operation to verify toolpaths. I run the verify, but it doesn't want to pick up the gouges and collisions. I have used MetaCut Utility to verify my toolpaths and it picks up all the gouges and collisions. My trial version for Metacut just ran out though. I now that the verify isn'y picking up the gouges and checks because I have ran the program on the mill and there are several gouges and checks that the verfiy simply didn't pick up. Can anybody help me with the verify command.
