Hello world! I'm in a bit of a quandary with some code that my post processor has output from the NCI. Basically it's regarding the 'Plane Spatial' function on the Heidenhain 530i control. I understand the concept of the function, but what I am not getting is the following Datum Shift command that is wrapped around it: 2584 L X-11.542 Y+8.736 R0 2585 L Z+125. Generating undercut radii. Best strategy?

Hi, I'm trying generate the corner rad of an under cut (Rad = 1.27mm) using a t slot cutter with a 0.5mm rad on the top edge. Can anyone please tell me the best way to go about this? Sorry I'm a newbie to Mastercam! Thanks....

I've worked on an Okuma MacTurn 550W (9 axis!) they are built like tanks, and the OSP control is very good.

Result! In the end I used 'Flow' for the roughing of the pocket, and 'Swarf' for the milling of the adjacent walls.
