  1. You rock my friend ..... 2017 / 2018 just got a whole lot better
  2. X5 (My favorite of the X series) , X7, X8, X9 And 2017. Just havent had time to install 2018. Any chance of legacy paths? I really am missing good old parallel and shallow.
  3. Also : for ADMIN .... Is there a way to get my original Account back I was gone along time and on / off again for many years. I was mold100 and originally member #1415
  4. Good Day All ...... So we are a fairly outdated mold shop (except now caught up on Mcam) with equipment and are small with an owner not looking to spend a ton of money on updating at this point. We are potentially buying a used Makino CNC EDM (We have 4 manual Charmilles ) in the near future and the sales guy wants to roll a package with a used OKK graphite mill. He said he thinks has a Fanuc Controller but not positive maybe a Neomatic, in which I have no clue about. Is there a standard out of the box post for this control, also over the years I have ran a lot of better equipment and am currently cutting electrodes on a mid 90s FADAL 2216 that if I run over 30 ipm I lose a ton of detail. I am here in this situation because there is a good potential for ownership in the future. Anyone have any idea what type of feed rates I could expect with the OKK realistically without losing detail. I know trodes that I cut now that take 2 to 3 hours on an SNC64 or a even old Bosto would be in the 25 to 45 minute range or even quicker.
  5. Whats up fellas, been awhile and not thinking this is my original profile anymore. Anyways been away on and off past 10 years basically. Finally have some upgrades happen and have an issue. I recently went from X7 to 2017 and its whoa changes. Before when I would open a Solidworks (2012) part the original would be on one level and the modified part would be another level. Now the 2 are merged together. Never mind got it ......If I open surfaces its one if I open as solid its separated. Thanks anyways .......I will have many more issues I am sure. Little History I was one one of the few members when this started that was mold / electrode focused in the early days of e-mastercam..... That was early 2000,s man has this come along way.
