Orbital Computers...Anyone hear of this company? The link is for a system I configured on their site with monitors included for around $5200. I would like your feedback please. TIA

Hey all...
In 2017, I could be in 2D mode and was able to create a curve and it would match the edge I selected.
In 2018, when I create a curve on one edge, it does not match the selected edge...
Any ideas why it's doing this? Probably a config setting I'm overlooking. Any help will be appreciated. TIA
Jim
What I do is rename the toolpath group to the NC file name I want. Then in the same area as JParis showed, I toggle the 'Toolpath group name' and then all the toolpaths created in that toolpath group will have the name of the toolpath group.
What you do is one way to make sure all the toolpaths have the same program name. These are just suggestions to help eliminate having to do that. HTH
Them: Your program scrapped that threadmilled hole.
Me: How did that happen? Was the tool taught properly? (as I'm looking at the tool they setup and find it to be different than the one called out)...This is the wrong tool!
Them: It's the only threadmill I found...
Me: What about these? (as I show them the tools I called out still in the box they came in WITH the job # on them)
Them: Oh. Didn't know we had them...
Me:
I was wondering if any of you have more than one version of Mastercam installed on your pc? I have X7, X8, X9 and 2017 currently installed and was wondering if there is any reason I should have any other version installed besides the current version?
I had this issue with a post for one of our older Mazak vertical mills. I contacted our reseller and they had me send them the post file. They had the issue fixed and it now works properly. They said it was something with 2017 changing something in the post when I updated to 2017. The post worked fine in X6 - X9, but started doing what you described when I started using 2017. HTH
No problems, really...they weren't there initially and I was wondering why they showed up? I might have gotten click happy and clicked something I shouldn't have...
