  1. Yes.!! Indeed I am using an AMD Athlon XP 2000+. As for the suggestion from Glenn, I couldn't even check or uncheck the "Enable OpenGL® drawing"... box
  2. I have tried what u guys have suggested but in vain. Really wonders what n where went wrong... a bit frustrating. Anyway guys... thanx for the reply n effort
  3. I am running Mcam9 SP1 on Windows XP using a NVIDIA GeForce 4 64MB 4200 with AGP8x. From shading to zooming in & out works very well with the card. However, i got a problem when it comes to creating lines. When i create a line from endpoint to endpoint using sketch, whenever i zoom in to the second point, (second point of the line not indicated yet) the line could still be seen at the position before i zoom in. Even if i press F3 to refresh the screen, the "old' line would be erased, but the current line would still leave a unwanted line behind Anyway, i have already downloaded the latest driver from nvidia Hopefully, some kind souls would understand what i am tying to say and give me a hand..
  4. Hey Charles.. I got it... Thanx for your help..

  9. Hi all, I am from Singapore. Have been using MC for less than 2 years, starting from version 6. Our workshop is fabricating plastics prototypes, mostly for R&D engineers. Through this forum, i hope to pick up new tricks n skills while hoping my limited knowledge of MC would be of some help to someone some day.. ------------------
  10. Hi.. i have solved the problem by asking my customers to section out the part for me.. However i felt that this problem was solved only temporary.. i need to have a long term solution.. My boss wouldn't agree to pay the service of the translator as it would increase our overheads. & i agree wif him that we r not looking at the root of the problem by solving it this way.. Could anyone give me the precious advice that i need..??? Lastly i like to thank those who reply to my topic.. U guys r great n helpful.. I really appreciate it!!! ------------------
  11. Hi Greg, sorrie but i am not allowed to show the drawing to any third party as the drawing is stil under R & D n i have signed an agreement with my customers. The worst thing is that i needed this part to be solid instead of trimmed surfaces as i need to section out the parts for programming. Anybody can help pls??????? ------------------
  12. Hi all.. I have got a problem here. Sometimes when i try to convert a step file given by customers, i would get a warnings like "One or more STEP solids could not be created. try to create trimmed surfaces instead" or Parasolid® kernel interface error, PK error code : 999, Geometry fail to pass check" By the way, my customers are using either Pro-E or Solid Designer.. Thanx in advance for the advice n help given ------------------
