  1. Thank you for the help, John.
  2. Can a computer have both a fully functioning dongle enabled version of Mastercam X6 and Home Edition of Mastercam X6 installed? I would rather not take the dongle home and possibly lose it.
  3. 88Matt, Don't you have to set the z height using a 1" Jo block to the z0.0 level of the top of the table? Each wire guide should have a distance from the inclination point to the tip of the guide to add to the calculations. Your machine maybe similar. It was very much the same for our Japax wire machine. I used to do taper cuts a couple times a month and I under how frustrating setting the machine up could be.
  4. Thank you guys, I think I have a better Idea of what to look for now. I just realized the program sample up top has a G94 instead of a G93. I made a change in the Control Def. Manager to output inverse feed on the rotary, but its still posting out G94's. Would this be the trouble?
  5. I’m doing some 4th axis program which I don’t normally do and I have two questions about a Haas HRT210 4axis programming. Number one is how do I get the 4th axis to product smooth fluid motion without it having to constantly clamp and unclamp the brake, which breaks up the tool path for combination of one single axis motion and a radius. Number two: posting out a program results in the radius (X-axis & A-axis) moves always having very large values for feed. The only way I was about to get by was to set the tool with a feed rate of F1 and all the excessive feed rates would not post and would only get F1 In the correct place. I would later go in to the text program and do a control-H and change the F1 values to the proper feed rate. Sample below. Thank you in advance. Sample program with excessive feed rate in radius motion: N14 T1 M06 (ACCU_3/16DX5/8LOC_3FLT_ZRN) N16 G17 N18 G00 G90 G54 A150.11 S6500 M03 N20 X-3.4677 Y0.
