I don't know if this helps but I run a nvidia quadro 4 900 xgl. I had alot of problems at first but have had none for a quite awhile. Post again if you would like more info. or if you have more questions.

I'm looking for some info on what settings others use for a great surface finish. I have total tolerance at .0004 and step over at .0009 using a .250 ball in a Surface Finish Parallel. I tried constant scallop but parallel looked better. I'm using 2:1 filter tolerance. Thanks any suggestions will be very helpful.

Thanks jammer, I have this set at 458 and my computer has 512 MB RAM. My reseller had me set it at 70% of my ram originally, but wanted me to increased it after this problem arose. Thnaks, Rick

Thanks for the feedback. It will now work after down loading the latest driver and adjusting the amount of ram for viewing? My IT guy did that. But now when I go to backplot I get WARNING- error allocating memory for toolpath functions. I can get it to go away if I go and change my settings from Medium(16 bit) to High(32 bit) or from High to Medium, but I have to do this every time I start MASTERCAM. My pixel setting is the same as above.

I'm wondering if anybody out there is using s DELL with a NVIDIA Quadro 4 900 XGL video card if so what settings do I need to make this run correctly. It seems that if my toolpaths get to lengthy then my graphics lock up. Thanks, Rick
