  1. Ahhh the ol' russian roulette trick fixed many of wierd motions.
  2. I agree comments are very important. For proving out programs and setup there is a nice little VB script gem for printing out, or emailing to your smartphone, a handy little operations sheet that shows each toolpath, it's coinciding tool, and your COMMENTS that you add as well as the operation sequence number. This is nice for large programs with 50+ operations as far as navigating and jotting notes. Without my X7 in front of me, I believe it's in VB script under getjobinformation. If you're somewhat tech savvy you can edit the HTML code to fit you're needs. Check it out!
  3. You can make a model of your part kind of like the end result of VERIFY. In toolpaths select stock model, select your choice of color, set up your stock dimensions or if you already have just click update stock and then in the next tab select which toolpaths you'd like to view and your tolerance. You may also compare your stock model to your stp. file with different colors. It takes a minute to generate your solid but it's right on your screen (along with your solid model) and easy to see and navigate. You can add as many as you like to see the progress of your part. I use it all the time especially for jobs with alot of surfacing.
