  1. Right now, I can store programs in the memory. So the communication is working well (same settings as you).

If you have a program that have something like 50000 lines, can we run the program from the computer and not from the control? This is normaly called "drip feed".

    Thank's

  2. Anybody here have this kind of control?

I try to figure out how to do drip feed code with this control (DNC). I've not see any tape mode on the control.

Any help would be very appreciated. smile.gif

    Thank's

  3. First, I would look at the mazak parameters. Be sure that param F92 bit 7 is set to 0 (so that the control use the tooldata for EIA programs)

In the tooldata, in the lower-right corner, you've: act. dia. comp. (error:this is not the dia but the radius). If you use wear comp in Mastercam, you should set it to zero and comp +/- to adjust your comp. If you use comp in control, you should enter the radius of your tool.

This is for fusion controls... don't know which control you have.

    Hope it help smile.gif

  4. Felix,

If you've unrolled your geometry (you've probably a ton of small lines.A quick fix would be to create a spline from the unrolled geometry. Create--Spline--Curves--Chain the entities and use it for your toolpath. It can reduce the lenght of your program.

    And...Merry Christmas! cheers.gif

  5. We've a customer that use Mastercam for 5 axis use. They've been approached by UG. The customer asked the UG demo man to prove him that he can do more than Mastercam. He was not able. So they upgraded to V9 and get 3 days of special training on 5 axis.
