figured out the problem, one machine had a different tolerence then the other two, made them all match, and now masterCam loves me back again! Thank you for the help!

We have three different people pulling-up files and saving onto the network, everything was fine and dandy until this week. I am getting an error that says "6 Corrupt Entities were not brought in" (just one example, this is happening on different files), the problem is that it's not saving the changes that were made to the parts. I know that it's not video card related. We are dealing with a few hundred people getting these parts and they are very unforgiving when they make a change and the next time they get their parts, the change was not made.

Is it possible to have a z-shift inserted automatically as a default. Currently when I am prompted to enter a z-shift it is blank, and if a skip over it by mistake, it sends a z-shift of zero to the machine, which is a very, very bad thing.

Thanks for the reply's, but I really would rather use my scroll button instead of the key strokes; the odd thing is that the scroll wheel works on all other programs, very confused!!!

My scrolling is no longer working, it was fine then it just stopped working, I can no longer zoom-in and zoom-out, it is driving me CRAZY!!!

I have the box checked, it is saved in my library that way. I also do not have the gouge-check enabled, the box is empty!!

Thanks for the quick reply, I did not change tool sizes( but that is a good tip to watch out for), and the lead in is tangent, when I backplot it shows the part being hit by the tool, but if I go into the lead in settings and just open it( not change anything) I can backplot and it now shows the lead in???

Here's my problem, the lead-in and lead-out is disappearing on my programs, thus when the program is ran at the machine the part has an inch routed out of it where the tool entered and ended, but if I go back into the same program and just view my settings for lead-in and lead-out it adds the .375 to the tool path for the cutter to enter the part, thus not creating a mis-rout. Router Version 9.1 sp2

Is there anyway to convert notes from a drawing; to an excel spreadsheet. We use the information from the drawings(part numbers, and size) to create labels for the parts.

Maybe you and your partner should take your "special effects" and shove them. I think your problems may stem from being a new user, when you grow some pubes you can log back onto the site. Until then SHUT YOUR CAKE HOLE!

It seems to always happen when I haven't saved my file for about 2 hours, then I lose everything! Just kidding, it is very unpredictable, It seems like it just happens.

Thank you for your reply, but the issue could possibly run deeper than my hardware and configurations, This is my second puter and my amigo also is on his second puter. Our first puters were both NT stations, now I am on a Gateway puter, and he is on an IBM puter, both running xp pro, one having a NVIDIA Quadro4 580 xgl vidoe card, and the other has a NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 video card. Both of us are running Mastercam 9.1 service pack 2,and the error message is "Router exe. has incountered an error and needs to close",or something along those lines. This is the only software that causes problems and headaches on our puters, we also run autocad, ironcad and never experience any issues, is it me or is mastercam just a little bit buggier then the other cad programs.

What could be making all of my geometry disappear when I enter the operations manager and try to add or rechain for toolpathing

Does anybody know what causes the router exe. error to occur. It sucks because you lose the file that you are working on since the last save.
