Seems like Mastercam 2018 doesn't like to use the tool's assigned feeds and speeds and I have to re-initialize the tool for each operation. I have my tool settings right in the machine group properties but apparently there is another setting I'm missing somewhere. How can I get Mastercam to automatically use my tool settings like it did in X9?

Is there a way to not have the WCS name displayed next to the gnomon? I want my setup sheet to show the gnomon where the part origin is, but I don't want it to show "Right side-1" or whatever the WCS name happens to be.

Got my IT guy to launch Mcam 2018 while logged in as admin and that did the trick. Now we're up and running, thanks a ton for the help!

I have the same issue but it was the IT guy trying to do the install. Without admin rights, all I get is a user account control box asking me to log in to install the software. My Mastercam 2018 is installed in C:\Program Files\Mcam2018 and I was attempting to have my X+ installed from within the Mcam2018 folder. Any idea how to help my IT guy get X+ for 2018 up and running?
