  1. What about North Carolina? I plan on moving there after I get my AAS. degree in Machine Tool Tech. I have twenty five total years of machine shop experience with fifteen of that as a CNC set up and operator. Thats why I need to be efficient in using MC lathe and Mill. I want to utilize my experience as a programmer.
  2. I am using MC7 lathe to create a part that is approx. 1.00 od.and 2.500 in. long. There is a 3/4 20 thread on the end with an undercut behind the thread. Being a novice user, I need some input as to how I should approach setting up the stock ) (how to do this),what order I should chain, and how to do partial chains.(I want to rough out the OD.without going into the thread undercut. The roughing tool is an 80 degree and would take out half of the thread blank if it followed the chain. thanks. 3. I am a novice user and I need some help with lettering on top of a four by four cube. The lettering is inside of a .375 radius from dead center . My question is how do I chain this for the purpose of lettering only. I am using a 9font regular type letter and the pilot of a 1/8 center drill to letter with. Any help would be appreciated
