I am currently using X4 MU3 & just got my pc upgraded to windows 7.
Now if I center drill some holes, then copy that op. for a drill, when I choose the second op. & choose a drill, the speed & feed of the drill does not come with & it's a tool from my library. It will stay the same as the ctr. drill. This did not happen before windows 7. Anyone else have this happen?
I bought a new Toshiba laptop and loaded X3 on it.
I also bought a parallel to USB adapter because I still have the old HASP and didn't want to pay the $xxx to update to the USB. But I got the error message that no sim was found. Just wondering if this just isn't going to work, or if I need to do something to the laptop to recognize
it.
Thanks
I would like to add a shift amount when I post a boring cycle. Currently I choose bore #2 cycle and I get
code:
G88 G98 Z-.975 R.2 F2
I need
code:
G88 G98 Z-.975 R.2 I-.02 J0. F2.
If I put a value in the shift where it asks for it in MC, nothing changes. Just wondering if I need to change or add something in the post? For now I have just been adding it by hand.
Thanks

I'm having the same problem as you. But it only seems to happen when I select sorting, point to point and have the entities button selected. If I choose the holes with the arrow button selected, which is "select drill point position in the graphics screen", then it works o.k. for me. Just a work around for now.

I need to scribe some lettering in a part that I imported from Solidworks. It has block type letters, can I easily change these to stick letters? Or will I need to change them myself?
Thanks in advance! Excellent forum!
