Good morning all
I would like to hear what you all think would make a good box for the new Version X.
I will be starting a new seat, so that I may put my best foot forward with Version X.
All new O.S.-----What to choose?
All new Box -----What to choose?
Dual processors-------Yes or no.
Dual monitors-----------Yes or no.
Loading all new stuff, no ghosting, ZIP EVERYTHING from the previous seven programmers,
make a new personal config for X to avoid bringing my own ghosts to VX,and the new box.
-
I am also counting on it really paying off when X is fully released. If a new Mantenace bill comes before X , it will be difficult for me at my present employ.

Our IT guy says it's prolly the software, due to multiple(2)openings.
Do any of you guys have the same problem?
Will I have only load one part(1MC) at a time?

Hi all-
I swear I'm not harming the files by accidently
deleteing solids or solid constructions.
This is what happens on some of my files.
I right a program(but i'm not done)
Someone from the shop comes in and asks
for a demention on an old project, I bring it
up on a newly loaded Mastercam---and give an
answer. another question would be for hardware,
I open the net to look for something.Someone from the front office comes in and asks
for a time guess timation on a new project, I bring up on a new file on the Mastercam by saveing the program on the first Mastercam, and
load the new part .
When I go back to get the file that I have been programming I get this set of ----red flags---.
Parasolid® Kernel Interface Error
Ki Error code 922-
Invalid file contents (OK)
Error reading file (OK)
Error reading file (OK)
Error reading file (OK)
Error reading file (OK)
Error reading file (OK)
No matching opfile (OK)
Parasolid® Kernel Interface Error
Ki error code:58
Key not found (OK)
No matching opfile (OK)
Parasolid® Kernel Interface Error
Ki error code:58
Key not found (OK)
Parasolid® Kernel Interface Error
Ki error code:22
Tag is missing or dead(OK)
Error reapplying
operation not complete (OK)
When I get my file,
I have some solids, but some are gone.
I get the operation topices, but all of
the operations are gone. bummer)
I just needed to vent this reocureing problem.

A man comes home from working in his shop and is greeted by his wife dressed in a sexy little nightie. "Tie me up," she purrs, "and you can do anything you want." So he ties her up and goes back to the shop.

Hi NFranco, congrates on a new seat!
I didn't have email ,net ,phone, and so on when I started at this seat(2 years ago), but that stuff justs comes along with job duties, or phone, email net, tasks that the company needs the programmer to do.
Your new there, give a little time to settle in.
At least you don't have quams like the guy who worked for NJ gov.
-
I'm guessing that the 1/16 cutter diameter will not "fit" in the contours of your engraveing.

quote:HOW DO THEY EXPECT US TO PURCHASE THE NEW SOFTWARE IF WE DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT IT.
Hey bub, they don't .
It only exists for the beta guys at this time.
I have signed up for matanence, that prepays me for 2004 version releases(VX),but really it isn't even for sale yet.
I paid , I don't have it yet, I feel ok about the deal, It will work itself out.

I was shown the trade buy an old guy named Roy Huelden,,,He may have worked on this when he was a boy. He wasn't greek but I think he was old enough.

Thanks for the offers to help, but
their were over 300 files. The customer
will help us by giveing iges files.
We don't have the ProE coverter,,over
300 files is not a one convert.
The company will pony up for it, but
I'm saveing our budget for set-up sheets,
meta-cut, and a simco editor.
Thanks
