  1. Having file transfer problems with a new Roku Roku Mill with FTP network connection (not serial). The service tech that hooked up this machine installed LAN Workplace Pro for Windows 95/NT40 on a PC next to the machine. A small "Serving FTP" window is always displayed on the desktop. This setup works only half the time and the PC has to be continually rebooted to get it to work. The service tech says its the only way he knows how to hook the Roku up via FTP and has no other solutions .
  2. The Communication settings Jimmy from Barefoot CNC gave you are correct and it most likely wont work any other way. Also, if your programming that Mazak with G & M code you'll need to turn on the parameter for DC1-DC4.
  3. I am trying to send a G and M code program to a Mazak Mill, M32 control. This particular program contains 3 other programs within it, the Mazak M32 allows this. Upon sending the program, the control will display the contents (the 3 program numbers), it reads the first program number then errors out (512 file not found) as it tries to read the second program. Oddly enough if we send the 3 programs separately, combine them at the control and send them back to the PC as one, the machine will read it back as one program just fine. We are using standard DNC software and RS232 cable pinout. Any relevant experience would be greatly appreciated.
  4. Concerning the SolidWorks view change that dynamically rotates from the existing to new position, SDRC had it first, SW stole it, and your right, it looks really cool.
  5. The code looks like this. 0000 EZTRAK|SX 1234 MODE|INCH |THU JAN 24 0010 RAPID ABS X0. Y0. Z0. 0020 RAPID ABS X-2.5 Y2.75 Z.25 0030 LINE ABS X2.5 Y2.75 Z-.25 F.0 0040 ARC|CNTRPT ABS CW X2.75 Y2.5 Z-.25 XC2.5 YC2.5 F.0 0050 LINE ABS X2.75 Y-2.5 Z-.25 F.0 0060 ARC|CNTRPT ABS CW X2.5 Y-2.75 Z-.25 XC2.5 YC-2.5 F.0 0070 LINE ABS X-2.5 Y-2.75 Z-.25 F.0 0080 ARC|CNTRPT ABS CW X-2.75 Y-2.5 Z-.25 XC-2.5 YC-2.5 F.0 0090 LINE ABS X-2.75 Y2.5 Z-.25 F.0 0100 ARC|CNTRPT ABS CW X-2.5 Y2.75 Z-.25 XC-2.5 YC2.5 F.0 0110 RAPID ABS X0. Y0. Z0. 0120 || TOOLCHG T1 0130 || END|PRGM This is Eztrak conversational and has a .pgm file extension. I just found an old Eztrak post that has the number 26 as the last line in peof. This may be the fix.
  6. Trying to send short programs(.pgm)to a 1993 bridgeport eztrak through the Com port. The control will only allow communications through Ezcam or Ezfile selections. I can get a file to the control, it scrolls across the screen, but it wont close down the port to save the file. I have to Cntrl-C from the keyboard to cancel the process and exit. I believe the control may require an ascii charachter at the end of the program to close down the port. Any ideas?
