the coolent off only controls the coolent on the side and the washdowns it doesn't turn the threw coolent off, and you cant put the M89 in while the program is running can you?

on a hass machine, after you turn the threw spindle coolent on is there a way to turn it off in order to change inserts in the middle of the program?

im new at a union shop, when the light went out on our hass the operator said he was going to call the electrician i thought he was jokeing. He wasnt, it took an hour to get it changed

thanks, robk i went ahead and ordered the iscar only because all the other iscar cutters work well for us and we have about $2000 in heads that engingering already orderd

just put my order in for carbide shanks and some more heads. i hope it works or it will be off with my head

all of you guys that are using the iscar multi master, are you using the steel or the carbide shanks? we have the steel 6.5 inch and it chatters like mad no matter how we try to use it.

i tell it that im using a .1252 ball and that works. or make your fillets on the model smaller

make sure you use "comp to tip" if you are trying to hold the depth.

i ran a haas sl30 before with MC lathe and never had any problems with it, but if your going to run high production on it you might want to look at an okuma

there doesnt look like that much foam at the trap , looks like just to much coolent to go though the trap. what do you do about it Don?

just asked the opperator, he says it is foaming some, so i searched the forum for the subject, not alot of help, how do i get it to stop foaming? we use a coolent brand name "trim"

try makeing the 90 degree wall a check surface then the cutter wont climb it but it wont gouge into it

we have a haas vf8 with the chip washdown nossels, does any one have a problem with the coolent overflowing the gate trap where it goes back into the tank? we have cleaned the tank and the trap many times but it still overflows at the trap .

try using the tool containment box i uploaded a new file (mill surf test b1) will this work?

thanks Millman i will try editing the post monday. being a standard post worst that can happen is i screw it up and have to reload right?i,ll try it out with no die on the table though been using MC for 14 years now but never had to mess with the post. i guess its time to learn. . thanks again
