I am using X3. When trying to open Rast2vec.dll I get a message saying "You are not allowed to run this product. Please contact your dealer for a valid license"
I thought it was included in X3. Has anyone else had this issue?
Thank You
1st of all, why are you cutting a cavity with 7 cuts? This seems like a lot of cuts.
Second, you are making 7 cuts all with the same offset and changing your geometry?
Wouldn't be easier to just change the offset value? Changing the geometry seems bit cumbersome.
Also, if you go to the lead in/out tab of the parameters folder you can avoid an unnecessarily long lead out.
Can you email me your MCX file? I'll try and post it.

I'd also like to see this 'tuned' MPSSD350 post.

After a lukewarm experience with our local reseller, You'll understand why I'm reluctant share our post with anyone
affiliated with a reseller or CNC software.
Our local reseller tried to charge us for "modifying" our post. They added a date comment and changed nothing else,
then told us the post had been modified. As can be predicted, the post didn't fuction any differently.
So, from that point on we modify all our own posts in house.
Are you sure your controller is a LN and not an LQ? The LN is an older controller found on a lot of 1st generation linear machines.
Anyway, I have to respectfully disagree with Mr. Martin. I found that the MPWSD350 required far less post modifications for an LQ1 controller than the Mark 30 post.

Thanks. I been doing alot of reading and picking up alot of useful information.
However, I forgot to mention one thing in the original post. I am using Wire.
It seems like the IGES file was drawn as a wireframe and then transformed into a NURBS surface. I need to get it back into a lines and arcs format.
Any further tips of what I may be able to do will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
I have an IGES file that seems to be a 3-D wireframe but analyzes as a NURBS entity. I need to convert to lines and arcs.
I have done a search in the forum for this problem but nothing seems to work.
Any additional suggestions beyond the Edit, Simplify or the Edit, Break into Pieces.
I have X2.
Thanks.
