Pro-E was the big CAD package here. Mastercam was the cam packeage because I am the one that had the say on what was bought. Pro-E worked well with the converters into Mastercam ..

Now Pro-E is being phased out in liew of Solidworks and it worked great for us. All the engineers see the benefit ..

"Maintenance will expire in" messages... Funny enough after calling my reseller I put my current codes in AGAIN and it cleared the message totally .. I get no warnings now and it runs fine ..so we are running at least until we get new codes

So our maintenence was due and we got the ball rolling got the approvals for our next years agreement. That ball was then handed to our accounts payable dept who apprently dragged their feet in paying the bill. Well we started etting the sim countdown and we were assured that even if the maintenence ran out that the sim would still work ... we just couldn't update ...

I've been complaining to get this taken care of for weeks... Well guess what ... Mastercam sims ran out and the software won't run!! .. Someone dropped the ball on both ends this time ...

I have the pro-e converter .. send it to me

Well the problem gets compounded because of the license (maintenence) fee. Because people have paid this fee it has made them feel as though without timely delivery they have wasted their monies.

On the flip side while everyone eagerly waits for X the question you really need to ask yourselves is this. Would I be satisifeds with a product that was over ridden with bugs and issues. Basically you could end up with an expensive product that would be useless to you in its current form. then people would be complaining how much the new product sucks.

We are talking about a total redesign of the product which imho was long overdue and I really think people will be pleased when they see it.

as far as the maintenence plan have most of you paid more than you would have paid for a simple uprgrade and is that truley where your frustration lies ..

I think the point wasn't the act as much as the fact that he lied about it. I can respect someone for making a mistake and admitting they messed up, we are human and screw up everyday(some a bit more than others :lol ).. It's the cover-up and the lies that get to me.. if he was willing to lie about that what major issue would he lie about in his job ..

It's funny because I think as young politicians there are a lot of people who start out innocently with great intent to make a change for the better. Not all of these people who sign up are with the best intent but what happens is that the system as a whole has become so corrupted it's hard not to get caught up in it in order to play the game effectively.

What bothers me about certain politicians is when they have millions of dollars and pretend to know or even be on the side of the working middle class stiff. Both Bush and Kerry are these types of people..

The thing that bothers me about Kerry is simple.. He has always made a habit of flip flopping on issues to gain the popular poll. This tells me he is a very indecisive person and someone who to be honest I would not have wanted in office during the 9-11 attacks. I don't think he is a bad person but I don't think he has great leadership qualities....

I'm tired of the press and the democrates tilting things by complaining about the Iraq war and how it was wrong. Did anyone notice the report a few weeks ago about Iraqi "Banned" missle engines turning up in Jordan? Probably not ..it wasn't widely reported but they made a point to let you know yesterday that Saddam may be have been mistreated by his captors.....

Everytime you see Al-Queida Behead an american or even an ally, instead of looking at that feeling sick like we shouldn't be there and proving to these people that we don't have the stomach for the bloodshed ..
