  1. Well it's been the same here in NH and Mass .. they are now saying that it will be more summer like starting tomorrow. Unfortunate for me .. Bike week is here and my daughter graduates H.S this Sat so I guess I won't be headin up ...

  2. It doesn't list in the control panel to remove and to boot it self installs even though there is an install for metacut in the splash screen. I changed pc's this week and ran into the same trouble. I just turned it off in the metacut options menus. If this is going to be an option then it should ask you upon install. This wasn't seen in the beta and it can confuse newer mastercam users as it does alter the NCI code and shows up in your post. I caught it cause the extra code faulted in my Fadal during program upload...

  3. Wow Trev,

I'm jealous .. you have a dream job ..And I like so many others here didn't realize there were so many guitarists. I've been playing for 25 years and run and online forum for Charvel/Jackson guitars. Now if I could only get to your video from work ..

  4. I help run a UBB for Jackson guitars and we have the member ratings enabled .. to be perfectly honest it's nothing but a waste of space. You are allowed to rate each member based on stars 1-5.. it really becomes a big joke as members will screw around and give each other 1's just to mess around ..

  5. Slow here too .. Semi Conductor market.. We had another layoff last week and we had one in Sept also .. We lost a maunal Machinist that was here for 20 years and he was really good. I really wish this would turn around.

  6. We had an MX3 and we currently have an edge control here in our model shop. There are times where we program with mastercam in that control simply cause it's easier. The MX3 post will work in a 2 axis control as when the control see's a Z move it prompts you to raise your Z height. Either way it works great.

  7. Charles,

While I think your partially correct I think that region and sector have a lot to do with it.. I'm in the N.E and work for a semi conductor driven company.. we just have more layoffs and reduced our work scedules to 32 hours a week thru Oct and shutdown at xmas. They are not expecting another ramp to start until late next year to 2004 now. We have been in this cycle since late 2000 to early 2001 and the Sept 11th just devastated our market ..

  8. Chris,

I'm not heeler but No they don't take wear compensation. The 2 prototraks we have had do not allow for negative #'s in the offset page. you either have to use full compensation or run the toolpath on the geomerty (ie:in computer)
