  1. hey guys got a quick q ive been moddifing some solid models on mc l8ly and can not figure out how to update my 2d layout when i modify the solid like i can on pro e and the likes couls some one please help thanks jimbo
  2. hey guys i know this is very off topic of master cam but the company im now working forin QLD Australia runs hyper form and i know many of you guys run both i was wondering if you guys know of any self help tutorials. I have tried to get my boss to get some thing from dealer but no luck yet and the books that come with the soft ware are not the easiest to use compared to MC. thankx heaps sorry if im not suposed to post about other products

  4. been a while since last post but here i go again with a dumb one. i have a solid with some deep pockets in it that will me getting machined on an integrex but really need to be able to do some solid lay out sectioned views for the boys and customer to get a good confirmation of whats happening can any one explain to me how i go about doing this. thanx all

Hi there all i have an extremely dumb q im sure some may laugh but ill never know unless i do so here i go. as i stated last week i just started a new job yesterday and where i have gone to does not have any tip tools only solid carbide (but **** loads of them its all they have). Now heres my delema at my old work we would have used a tip tool to machine steels so i have never used solid carbide on anything other then alli and i need to used it now on some K110 to make a press tool any one able to give me some insight as to what sort of feeds and speeds i can run a 16mm 4 fluted cutter at and do u do it with air or coolant? thanks for your help.   9. hi all well im about to change jobs next week and where im going does not have master cam so as i have never ran an intergrex mazak b4 just wondering how much harder it will be then to programme with M/C they r 4 axis mill and 6 axis twin spidle lathe with live tooling do u think its something a normal person will pick up programming quickly or would you recomend pleed bargening to get the boss to purchase mc to keep life quick and simple for my self yhanks for your help
  10. thanks tyron one of the guys at work sugested that about moving the start point by 1/2 the pitch thought there maye have been a cheat though thanks for your help and is the G76 a boxed, canned or long hand cycle

  13. we have just been using the FILE,COMUNICTIONS icon in mastercam and have not had this trouble b4 getting our new machine. thanx for your help so far guys
  14. thanx fellas well i just been offerd a new job opperating a 4 axis mill 6 axis integrex machine ctr so theres a good chance ill be takin yous up on that as the trouble starts to roll in thanx again
  15. Bruce im from the Gold Coast i think you are the man i spoke to a while back from ferra. Pual i have organised some lessons with my dealer but was basically after a more practical job to do rather then an exercise out of a tutorial book. Also thought it may give me some insight as to what sort of feeds and speed people around my area are doin in comparison to our max8000 rpm spindle. thanx all
