  1. Is there a way to set the cplane to +D+Z in the machine definition? I have looked all over and can't seem to find a way to do it. Thanks Chuck
  2. When I click on your link it says I do not have permission to go there. I do have admin rights on the computer and the folder I am trying to save to is the MyDocument folder that has been remapped to C:NCprograms
  3. If I try and post an NC file to a folder outside of the mcamx folder I get a message box that says "File cannot be opened. Check the read only attribute". I have even tried setting the NC file locations in the settings file. The file save dialog box comes up to the folder I have specified in the setting file but will not save there. Is this a glitch or do I have something set wrong? Thanks Chuck
  4. Thanks Jim, I knew there had to be a way to do the relative to intersection thing. This transition from 9 to X is going to take me a while but I’m convinced that it will be well worth it. Thanks for your help Chuck Kolm
  5. Having a problem with the xform translate function. I was doing a lathe job with the cplane set to +D+Z and tried to translate in the z direction using the From/To option. It puts the delta z value in the delta x box and moves it in the x(D) axis instead of z. Also I cannot figure out how to pick a point relative to a projected intersection. I see the relative icon but after I choose it I can't get the autocursor to recognize the projected intersection.
  6. I opened an MC9 file in X and when it came up it was displaying all the tool paths. I hit F3 to refresh the display and they didn't go away. I have looked every where (except the right place) to figure out how to turn them off. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
