Post to 2 post processors automatically

We have two similar, but slightly different machines that we run parts on interchangeably. Currently any time I post a program, I have to do so twice, one time for each machine with the specific post processor for each machine. We give the files the same program number, but append either -R or -D to the end to indicate which machine the file goes to.

I'd like to know if there is a way to automate this, basically to only have to post once and have Mastercam create 2 gcode files for me.

I did a little googling, but haven't turned anything up so I figured I would see if anyone here knew how to do it.

Thanks!

A good start would be to put your post in the Post Processer Development Forum.

I think you could handle this with "ppost" but I will defer to Mr. Gilchrist who has more experience with this "function".

Maybe check out the post interaction Nethook example from the sdk team?
