PROGRAMMING IN THE "Y" AXIS

Working on a horizontal barmill with a Heidenhian controler. Need to prgram some threadmilling on the top of the part with a right angle head and 3d rotation doesnt work. what do change to work in the "Y" axis. Never needed to use this and master cam school was a loooong time ago. Any help would be appreciated

With a good post should just be as simple as the correct plane. Question will be does your post support a Right angle head through the MMD or through the Misc Integers or Reals in operations? How you you normally go about programming Right angle heads or is the first time this is being attempted?

we usually program in the "z" axis and turn on a 3D rotation but machine 3d isnt working on this machine. I can get it to work in master cam (pecking and thread milling in the "y" axis but code is working in the "z"axis
