Numbered Gviews

Is there a way you can toggle through the numbered Gviews rather than putting in the number for each view?

alt2 = front ect.......

Matt cool Script can we make it so the limit is open for say 300 views or are we limited to the standard 8 views that Mastercam has.

 

 

Answered my own Qestion Yes 8 si all I can get to work, but very cool thing just tied it to a toolbar button.

Hey Rekd, the script worked great on my machine but when I tried to run it on a co-workers machine it ran the script but the views didnt change is there a switch that needs to be turned on or off to make this work?

Shouldn't be, Todd, just press a key to toggle them. Did you copy the whole thing?

 

Ron, if you have saved views, it might work with them, but if they're not sequential, you'd have to search them and apply their number instead of the way this one does it.

I copied the same exact program I even did it twice and still get the same thing

Do you have the latest vb dlls for the other machines?

I am not sure if they are up dated is there an easy check for that?

Open the script editor, go to HELP/ABOUT and you'll see, below Mastercam,

Check your editor, then make sure the others have the same build and chook date

Ron, FYI I created a few new views and saved them, and was able to increase i to the number of saved views and it worked fine.

Strange It did not work here it caused your script to go hay wire and yeah I got everything a non matinece person can have as far as updates go so think pretty much going to have to stick with what you had up at first appericate the effort though.

There will be a standalone install for the editor and vbs chook in a week or so that any 9.1 user can install and is not tied to maintanence.

Fixes

Querying a transformed operation produced an application crash when using various

Sorry Matt Just getting back to this Thread. I will meai lyou the file and you take a look at it. I ended up sending the part sicne it is truly a Lathe part and not a mill part but a good part becuse of the different Cplane I use in it.

 

Mick very cool be good to have some of the fucntions aviable to use. I will contact Charles and see when he thinks it might head our way.

Ron, I tried your script, after making the adjustment to the first char of the first line that I mentioned in the email, and it worked fine on the part you sent me.

 

Make that change, then change the 8 to a 12 in the FOR line of the script and run it on that file. Lemme know if it works.
