Problem with cutting the back side of a surface

I have a rather simple operation but I'm struggling with it more than I should. I want to cut the wall and the .050" radius on this part as shown in the picture. Step down the wall, step down the radius. Lead in and Lead out straight off the part. That's it. I got Surface Rough Contour working well enough, but I had to draw more of a boundary than I wanted to. Could someone please set me straight?

Try this only picking what you want to cut. You pick the whole solid and Mastercam will try to cut the complete shape.

It also works for Surface Finish Contour.

I would use HST Waterline.
