Lathe G71 retracting at angle

Unrelated to Mastercam. I have a customer supplied program roughing a bore using G71

Is there a parameter or something to get the boring bar to retract fully in Z before moving to next depth of cut. The insert is hitting the stock on the way out and blowing up the insert. Happens regardless of RXXX (retract value)

(Error: The note in the picture is wrong. It's retracting to the start of the pass it just finished, not "next pass")

Fixed! Parameter 01401.1 (LRP) = 0

Mine was set to 1
