Mastercam suddenly not opening SLDPRT files

Like the topic states, my seat of Mastercam 2021 just all of a sudden stopped opening Solidworks files. There is another seat on the bench behind me that doesn't have this problem. I can save the file as a Parasolid in Solidworks and then open and save in Mastercam, but that's an extra step and I used to not have to do that. Yesterday, I uninstalled Mastercam 2022 which was also on this computer. Could that have anything to do with this? What else could have changed?

Some Google and YouTube searching showed me information about a SwDocumentMgr.dll file. I reregistered it and all is well.

Can you share a link to the article that helped solve it? I have been having an issue in 2023 sometimes, but can open the same solid in 2024 without issue.

Components

Browse to C:\Program Files\Mastercam (version)\Mastercam\common\SWORKSDATA\SwDocumentMgr.dll

Right-click "Unregister Component"

Right-click "Register Component"
