Drill peck problem

We use MC9 SP2 here. When my boss sends me a file he's been working on, the drill pecks are all set to 0. I have to manually set peck depth on every drill op I create even though I can look in op defaults and they are set there. He is using a Fadal post that doesn't use canned drill cycles, and I use a Haas post using G83. Even though the first thing I do is change posts my MC makes me set pecks on every hole. But if I start the file with my Haas post, pecks are correct. Why won't MC use the default settings?

I need to correct something. The Haas uses IJK peck drilling, the Fadal uses the other system. But my boss has his default set at 0. So why wont MC use my defaults when his file is moved to my maching?

Go to job setup and change the post in there, and then go to the operations manager.

Did you try doing a regen of your ops with the Haas post?

Job set up has Haas post set but I reselected it anyway. Went to op mgr. and reset Haas post there too. No change on new ops. I delete all tools and ops in file when I first get it from boss, then change to Haas tool library and post. This should work.

I have found when getting files from coworkers that even toolpaths I create come up with their defaults. Would be nice to know how to get around this.

OK what you do is hit toolpaths/new. You might have to remove previous ops, tools and change posts but it just worked for me.
