the Batch operator allows the user to create the parameters a toolpath needs that could take a while to generate. multiple surface operations sometimes takes a while to generate. instead of tying up the system generating a toolpath you can "batch" it for later generation. then before you go home you open the batchfile and run the toolpaths and the posting overnight so as to eleminate tying up alot of processing time on the system. used mostly for surface ops in my experience as 2D toolpaths generate very quickly.
