flowline question?

I have a flowline toolpath that goes around a 90 degree corner. The tool retracts at the corner, rapids to the other side, plunges back down and continues on. How do I keep the tool down? I've been messing with the gap settings, but no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

Try Surface-Finish-Project-Blend. I think you'll find it gives you much better results than Flowline for keeping the tool down. HTH

I love flowline because of the scallop control. I will always use it first if it works. I rarley get to do surface milling but here is what I do:

 

What happens if you drasticly increase the gap?Also, sometimes you need to adjust your transition moves. IE: "follow Surfaces: instead of "Broken". If, these don't work then you may have to get rid of the sharp corner or go to Project Blend.

what i will do if i need to keep tool down and the corner sharp is add a .0002 radius and flow that surf also. that small of a rad should not ever be noticed.
