General Mastercam help

Greetings all,

Currently I am running a Fadal 15xt and using MC to drive it. However I am running the post processor MFadal2 and for what ever reason it doesn't seem to call out the code for cutter comp in the program. Is there some way of modifying the post to call it out.

Also in the same area is there anyway in MC to call out fixture offsets. Because everytime I go to create a program I have to manual change offest vaules manually.

I just tried the sample post on the disk, and it does call out the comp. Is you post modified? Are you sure you're checking wear in your paramaters? It is also outputting fixture offsets here. What version post are you using? Also what version of mastercam? Try the original post on the disk... Gotta go home now

Joe,

Set cutter comp to wear that way you will get a G41 or G42. Also for work offsets you need to go into T/C planes in the tool parameters page, you will see work offsets check mark it and put in a whole number. This will add to your E1 offset for example E1+1=E2 E1+2=E3 and so on.
