NC Verify too slow in MC8

Hei!

Have anybody noticed that verifying in MC8 even simplest 2D contour with mill D32mm takes forever(NT pages to virtual disk almost immediately)?Changing mill diameter smaller helps, but thats not a solution.Same verifying in MC7 takes almost notime.

Is it time for enhancement?Or we have to wait until Lightwork improves Sirius products?

Best regards,

Henry

Henry-

You might also mant to try decreasing your hardware acceleration on your graphics card.

Go to Display Properties, under the advanced button, and troubleshooting tab. There should be a slide bar that can adjust the graphics acceleration. Slow it down a notch and see if the speed issue improves.

Good Luck!

Doug,

Thanks for tip.I could try it out,if there were any Windows 95,98 computer around me.But there is'nt.

And to bstall:all verify is done in turbo,no tool, truesolid on.Without truesolid there's no paging at all,but still slow.

Regards,

Henry

Most verifyers are ram hogg"s >>>>>simple fact!

Maybe its time to look at work stations that have 500meg to 2.0 gig of ram ! i,m using 2.0 gig of ram & my solid verify screams no matter how large the file size , for example i did a 6 meg verify solid with solid tool & holder & it clocked out at 16 min's

your video card & driver settings may be part of the problem but not all.
