Terminology trivia: "LN1 fit with pin" ??

LN1 is a Locational Interference Fit (Light Press Fit). There are many sites on the web that will give the tolerance for this class of fit. Also, information can be found in the Machinist's Handbook (look under Fits / ANSI). The note LN1 fit to pin, indicates that the hole should provide a light press fit with the mating pin, and you will need the pin to get the actual dimensions. HTH.

Guess I could have been more specific. I'm making a Airplane part that is defined from a blue print. One of the features on the part is a hole with a notation that say's LN1 fit with pin. I'm guessing that LN1 implies a press fit. Thats where I'm stuck. I don't know exactly what LN1 means.
