Verify MC9.1

Hi all,

Just have a few questions that have been bugging me. headscratch.gif

When I am verifying my toolpaths I have it set for true solid mode, to remove chips, display xyz axes. I get the true solid verify, but I cant get the xyz axes to show, as well I dont get the option of removing the chips. Is there something I dont have set right??

I used these all the time in MC8.1.

Second question: frequently I use Mastercam for rotational positioning. To do so, I am in side view. I change in to 3D construction mode and rotate Y up (to the angle I need for the tool to be perpendicular to the geometry) It outputs a construction # and tool plane #. I can use these cp#'s for other toolpaths in the same tool plane.

However; If I close Mastercam and reopen the file, all the Construction planes #'s change to different #'s. This is really anoying if I still need to continue programming the part.

Hope anybody can help me out...

Thanks in advance.

not sure on the verify problem, if you say that all your settings are correct.

on the Cplane issue, yes, this is very annoying. I have started to open the wcs manager and make a copy of the desired Cplane and rename it so that when I close and re-open at least I know that its named instead of going doh! where'd it go. headscratch.gif

not sure exactly why it changes them though,

kinda cuckoo.gif if u ask me.
