  1. mastercam X2/11 is great, but I can't wait to get my hands on mastercam X3+7/8*9 it's in beta, i've been testing it...
  2. +100 Thad we had similar issues, but making sure that all the system tolerances and such matched was key!
  3. have you tried "disable front buffer" in your screen settings within X2? if not you might give it a try. if that doesn't work you could try "disable hardware acceleration" as well, or a combination of the two. HTH....mark
  4. quote: I like to see them run but don't always get to. -------------------- James Meyette CNC Programmer and MC Beta Tester ditto! sometimes I see it, sometimes I don't
  5. this has been covered, here. it has to do with Windows 2000 users. cnc software logged it as a bug.
  6. are you using Windows 2000 Pro as your OS?
  7. thanks Chris, unfortunately some of us are stuck working on older workstations...
  8. will do... hopefully Roger will be looking into this for us.
  9. BTW....in the McamX control panel applet, in the "file open dialog style", when I tell it to use "windows standard" it works how I want, but if it's set to "mastercam x" it does not. and I don't have a problem using the "windows standard" but you don't get to see a preview or descriptor or any of that special stuff. oh...and I am using Windows 2000 Pro. don't know if that has anything to do with it.
  10. my windows settings are set to use "list". and i have changed x2 to this format several times and they don't seem to be sticking. i can however notice that when i click on open, when the window pops up for a brief period, not even a full second, they're shown in the "list" format but then it just jumps over to "large icons"
  11. When you open a file using the open dialog box it is set to default as "Large Icons". I would like to set this to "List" by default. Is there any way to do this? I looked through the help menu and searched the forum here but didn't find anything relevant.
  12. I am using MR2 and Hole-Axis is working for me... Is it not working for you guys?
  13. Thanks for all your help and patience.
