Drilling different heights

I took a look in the search department of things, but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. Just a quick question about having to drill different z heights. Is there a way of doing that in one program or do I have to split them up according to the different plane heights? confused.gif

I like using incremental depths.

Be careful!!

Make sure you select your geometry at the correct Z height.

If you use an absolute clearance and an incremental retract height, watch out MC kicks a G99 instead of a G98. You will not see the crash until you are running it on the machine!!!!!!

Everybody's singin' the same song. May I add my two cents - yes, use incremental depth on the parameters page. Geometry selected for drill depth for all depths need to be at the proper z depth. I use points at the z depth and select them in the optimal order manually. Mastercam can select, sort with window and sometimes it works ok. eek.gif
