Hi ,Ajit

Split it with an additional point like I told and try

In menu write a name before first point

Do not forget about specific menu format

~~~~~~~~
Example from my menu.txt
quote:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[menu]
menu 1 {"Chooks:","secpa≥*", "&layout*", "&breakcir*", "C&a3pts", "&color", "&level", "se&tdirs*", "&setmain", "colrsur&f*"}
f*"}
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
& will make the letter appear underscored for hot key-ing like &color you will see in the menu like _color
All & in the menu must be unique.
Commands you right like &color and c-hooks like
"se&tdirs*",
~~~~~~~~

See this 4 additional info

I vaguely remember running into this myself a few years back. I don't remember what caused it but I just keep the length of my chook names to 8 characters and under. This hasn't been to much of a problem and I have over 40 chooks.

I can speculate that since Mastecam originated back in DOS it probably inherited some of its old naming conventions. Hence the reason Mastercam X has been totaly rewritten to play nice with windows.
