SW2005(again!)

Since upgrading to 2005 when I sketch I cannot get the snap mode to work. It is enabled in the options and all the sketch entities are ticked. The grid option is off.

 

Is there some other setting that I am missing?

There is a button in System Snaps

'Snap only when Grid is displayed'

Do you have this box ticked?

Jimp, no I don't. I will sit down and try everything tonight. Does inferencing have anything to do with this???

All sorted. It is some sort of registry issue. If I log on as someone else it works.

I spoke too soon.

 

When I select line instead of getting the "pencil" all I get is a set of crosshairs. And it doesn't prompt me for what plane I want. As far as I can see all of my settings are the same as the ones selected when I log off and log on as someone else. I have copied the solidworks log file from the other user to my user profile and still nothing. I have had IT do a re-install and still nothing.

 

Is this some sort of windows issue(pro2000) or do I need to moan at my reseller?
