Since the boss is away,I finally have time to tweak one of my posts.

I have made alot of progress so far,but there are 2 things I cannot figure out.

1st thing: I would like an M06 output after my M01.

2nd thing: I would like operation ONLY to have sequence #'s in increments of 100 starting with 100.

If I enable the seq #'s it numbers every line.

 

Oh,and the M06 I was referring to goes on the line before the sequence #.

 

Right now it's this:

M01

(DRILL)

 

Would like this:

M01

M06

N300(DRILL)

 

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Ok, I figured out the M06 problem,

does anyone know how to add sequence #'s to the operation comments only?

for the seq #s try and turn off Seq #'s. THe switch is up towards the top of the post.

 

omitseq : yes #Omit sequence no.

 

 

and try putting * in front of the n, were you want the seq number

If I turn it off,then there is NO #'s at all.

If I turn it on then EVERY LINE is numbered.

I am looking to number the tool comment after the M06 ONLY.

really. forcing the n, with an * should override that

 

turn omitseq yes, then in in your post search for comment

 

change it to this *n, comment

First omit your seqence #'s

Than change this line...

 

if stagetool >= zero, pbld, n, *t, "M06", ptoolcomm, e

 

Put this on a separate line...

 

 

*n, ptoolcomm, e

if you want to increment by say 100 everytime then go down to pheader and at the end you will see

 

#seqno = 100

#seqinc = 100

#n = seqno

 

take out the #

Or you can change the start number and increment on the top page of your tool parameters. The 3rd column over below the "program #" is: "Seq. start", "Seq. inc"
