im a reputed person of mil9 and i know all the skills of mill but i have problem in my lath operation when i set the path and all th kind of my job requirment .. but when i star the cam the tool can not operat and can not move on relibel place ..

what shoud i do for this troubel,,

I use Mastercam Lathe V9.1 all day so if you can be a little more specific about what your issue is I can try to help you

There are enough differences between lathe and mill that an experienced mill programmer might get stuck on something quite simple. Like most computer issues, once you know what to do the solution becomes obvious. At this point we don't have enough information on what is giving you trouble so if you can give us some more information we can probably help you out.

I find lots of new users to lathe incorrectly set the plunge parameters, compensation direction and extend contour to stock, all on the finish parameters page. These, along with the compensation direction are often the base of confusion.

Improper Lead-In / Lead-Out and Entry Amounts can be very frustrating as 'Tool Collision with Stock' is displayed on the screen 1,000 times while writing the toolpath....

sami , i used to get mad at lathe also. once you figure it out it isnt so bad. chris and phil have helped me out many times . ask the questions im sure they will have the answers.
