Merging Parts with Toolpaths/Operations

We often machine several parts at one time from a flat plate. I would be a great help to be able to merge parts with the toolpaths.

 

Is there any way to do this?

, you can save the toolpathes in library, and after merging the part , load toolpathe from library.

this is a way to make it, maybe other guy will give you other way.

If I save toolpaths in a library, how do I reconnect them with the geometry of a merged part?

You could import operations with their geometry through job Setup.

If you want to import them from the operation library with their geometry, first you need to export them to your op. library with their geometry.

Give the Job Setup import a try though. You'll like the results.

when we do this we plan it rite from the start bring in all your part geo arrang it on the sheet size then tool path it or if its allready done do as the others have said import the ops with the geo but really planning rite from the get go is the way to go

We will do our best with planning. Sometimes we have enough operations to keep a fast mill busy for 8 hours on a side. When there is a design revision, it is nice to be able to splice. Same thing for a model change.
