we use these jaws and they have serated vertions
we have also made our own by using a 1" tap and side milling with it and then rotating the part and milling again ...hth
sure there good for basic drilling .
they come with a spanner wrench if you want to tighten them up some more
but ive never had a slipping issue with them )
What you need to get is the high speed look ahead option on that haas and you should have no problums with the new high feed toolpathes we use them here all the time on our haas machines .
sounds like you need to flush out the controller
this is a very old controller and every once in a while we do this when we are having issues
turn off in back wait 20 seconds then hit
MANUAL |AUX|1612 START
this will flush out the junk you will have to reset your feed rate after this
vo1 200. (this is the max for xand y)
Vo2 150. (z)
aux1440
End
then run that
this will set you max feed rates again
some times i have better luck..i mean skill using an endmill verses an insert just better geometry on the bottom and we have been using peel milltool pathes to machine down ss with great flatness results ..just a thought
I belive what rizzo said (leave more material on for the finish pass and climb mill)
it could be your ruffing passes burr is bigger then the material you left on for finishing
i have a post for that controller but it's a two axis post it outputs dwells at z moves is your's 3 axis?? if you have you reseller email me ill get it too them
