Fanuc Peck Drilling in Mill

Would like to be able to change Peck Depths in Fanuc pecking cycle. Current method allows only one depth, 1st peck is the same as the last peck which in my case is not the best method for deep holes.

Check out an IJK cycle G73 in your machines

Manual for the variable definitions

 

I=Should be Initial Peck

 

J=Peck reducing value

 

K=Min Peck..

 

If you have coolant thru tooling even better.

 

Double check this before running with your Manual

You will need to customize your post drilling cycles to support this. You may want do a search on the forum for "custom drill cycles" to get some background information.
