CHANGING OPERATIONS

Is there a way to change a toolpath from say; surface > rough > parallel to something different without selecting new geometry. I have a job that i am finish profiling the outside of a casting and wanted to try some different paths to see what would work best. if i could change toolpath types without selecting the surfaces again each time that would save a lot of time.

I don't think so, but you could create the new toolpath and copy/replace geometry with the ones you want.

Do you have solids ? If so you could do , toolpath / surface / finish / parallel(or whichever) / solids / last

Create the toolpath of desired type without selecting any surfaces, setting parameters as needed. Then drag the Geometry icon from original operation onto Geo. icon of second operation and replace. Then regen second op.

I never thought of dragging the geometry! I will have to use that one!
