Mastercam VS Unigraphics

Most of the time, companies that buy UG (for Mfg), Pro/Man, CATIA, buy them for the wrong reasons. They are like the guy that buys a Ferrari F40 to drive to work NEXT DOOR! Does it get him from point A to Point B? Yes, is it a bit excessive? Yes. Would a Chevy do the job just as well? Yes. If you've got money to burn, hey why not, but it you're cost conscious, and want lots of features for not a lot of money (relatively speaking of course), Mastercam with a robust CAD package will do just nicely. I've been using it since around '93 and I've not run into something that could not create or machine. Well except for this one thing that gstephens did for me. He's 'da man!
