Hardware acceleration ?

Recommended Posts

I know this question has come up loads of times in different form. And I have done a search but can seem to fine exact ans.

I have a lot of small entities in a drawing and keep getting ghosting and having to refresh screen after each click. I have tried turning acceleration right down but did not make a lot better, I did change from 32 bit col to 16 and have been able to turn acc right up again was this the trouble?

Nvidia FX5600.

Thanks in advance .

George.

Did you look at your refresh rate. The higher the better.

When adjusting Acceleration, try moving it one notch at a time, and do alot of checking on each setting.

Also, I've noticed that the latest drivers aren't always the best drivers.

If that's all it takes...kewl cheers.gif The main difference between 32-bit and 16-bit colour is that the former uses a software palette to get colours and the latter only uses the software palette when a colour isn't available in the hardware's (your video card) palette. I've found that 16-bit colour depth treats Mastercam better wink.gif
