help with .ai file

If someone could help me out I would appreciate. One of our cutomers sent us a newer version of ai file and Rhino won't read the file. If someone could open the ai file and save in an older ver. of ai file. Version 5.0 has always worked in the past. These are the instructions we have gotten from another customer we also engrave for.

1. Must use early version 1.1 or 5.0 Adobe Illustrator

2. Convert to lines

3. "0" line width

This gives us a file Rhino has always been able to read. The customer seems to having trouble figuring this out this time rolleyes.gif If anyone can help then I can get this job out of my hair and move on to bigger things. cheers.gif

I'll put the 2 ai files on the FTP site under "Files to be converted to MC" the date of the 2 files are 6-18-05

Thanks
